#11 BERNINA Cordonnet Foot

I was skeptical about how well it would handle thick yarn, but the groove on this foot kept everything perfectly aligned as I sewed. My decorative stitches finally look professional and crisp.

Finally got this for my couching projects and the groove underneath keeps the yarn perfectly centered, no more wandering threads mid-stitch. I did several rows of thick pearl cotton and it glided through my machine without any skipped stitches. So glad I upgraded from my generic foot.

The groove underneath guides the cord perfectly, so it stays right where I want it while I zigzag over it. Couching thick yarns onto my quilt top took me maybe ten minutes to get the hang of, and the raised effect looks exactly like the technique in the photos.
