#64 BERNINA Straight-stitch Hemmer Foot

The 4mm double-fold hem comes out perfectly crisp on my silk blouses, and the spiral on the underside feeds the fabric without any tugging. I paired it with the straight-stitch plate and the whole process took me less than a minute per edge, which is a huge win for a slow sewer like me.

I was skeptical about how much time this would actually save, but the 4mm guide makes folding and stitching hems on lightweight fabrics almost mindless. It really does speed up the whole process for fine materials.

The 4mm fold is exactly as marked, so no more guessing on my silk chiffon. It feeds the fabric through smoothly and saves me at least half the time on double-fold hems.
