Bernette 08 Walking Foot

My slippery silk chiffon finally stopped sliding around thanks to the upper feed dog that keeps the layers perfectly in sync. It took a couple of test stitches to get the tension just right, but now that hem looks as clean as if I’d pinned every inch.

This walking foot made sewing a vinyl tablecloth so much easier—the upper feed dog actually grabbed the sticky surface while the bottom pulled it through. No more shifting layers or skipped stitches. A real game-changer for tricky materials.

Finally, sewing knits and slippery fabrics doesn't make me crazy. The upper feed dog really grips the top layer, so everything stays lined up perfectly.
