Finally, a blender that's actually dark enough to make my lighter prints pop — the mottled texture gives it that subtle depth instead of a flat black. Feels soft and has a nice hand for piecing; washed up with virtually no fraying. Will be ordering more of this shade for future projects.

I needed a true dark neutral for a quilt backing, and this near-black blender with its subtle mottled surface adds exactly the right depth without falling flat. The hand feels soft yet sturdy, and it pressed beautifully with no shifting.

The mottled texture gives this fabric so much depth—it’s not just a flat black, which makes it perfect for adding subtle drama to a quilt. I used it as a sashing and it made the brighter colors really pop. Already planning another project with it.
