Thatched – Cranberry 1/2 Yard

This blender red is exactly the tart, vibrant pop I wanted for a winter quilt, and it plays really well next to jewel tones. The half-yard cut gave me plenty to work with for an accent border.

The cranberry red is brighter in person than on my screen, which I actually love for the holiday quilt I'm piecing. The thatched texture prints with subtle variation, so it reads as a blender without looking flat next to my patterned fabrics.

I bought this to use as the accent squares in a winter quilt, and the red adds exactly the warmth I wanted without going too orange. The half yard cut plenty for my border strips, and it presses flat with hardly any fraying at the edges.
