Thatched – Pebble 1/2 Yard

The color is exactly that soft warm grey described, and it pressed like a dream for my patchwork squares. I already ordered a second yard for backing.

The hand-feel is lovely and drapey, not stiff like some quilting cottons, and that warm gray really ties together my scrappy patchwork blocks. I've already ordered another half yard because it's exactly the bridge tone my stash was missing.

This gray is the perfect neutral blender, it's soft enough to not overpower other prints but has enough visual interest to stand alone. The fabric feels nice and crisp, not flimsy, and it pressed up beautifully for my quilt blocks.
