Cut this into 2.5 inch strips for a quilt border and the mottled texture hides my seams way better than a flat solid would. The blue is bold without being neon, and it plays nice next to both gray and warm cream prints.

That cobalt blue is even richer in person than on screen, and the mottling keeps it from looking flat. I used half a yard as a border accent on a modern quilt and it made the whole thing pop.

The mottled Grunge texture is what sold me, it reads almost like denim instead of flat cotton. I cut it into 2.5 inch strips for a modern quilt border and the blue holds its depth against white sashing. Half a yard was just enough for the project I had in mind.
