#40C BERNINA Sideway-Motion Foot

Finally getting perfect sideways stitches – this foot makes it so easy to sew those decorative patterns I've been avoiding. The smooth motion on my 9mm machine is exactly what I needed.

The foot glides through the sideways-motion patterns on my 9mm machine without a single skipped stitch, which surprised me since I'd struggled with those on a regular foot. Decorative stitches come out evenly too.

I was nervous the sideways stitches would pucker, but this foot tracks the curve cleanly on my 9 mm machine and the decorative patterns finally look even. The little foot just glides along and I've already used it on two quilt borders.
