Grunge – Calypso Coral 1/2 Yard

The mottled texture shows up beautifully on this coral-orange — it’s got that soft, grainy depth that makes quilting pop without being busy. I’ve already cut into my half yard for a scrappy border and the color is even warmer in person.

This coral-orange is the perfect pop of color for my summer quilt project. The half-yard was enough for my smaller blocks, and the mottled finish gives it a nice, subtle depth.

I bought this to bind a quilt and the coral-orange is even warmer in person than on my screen. The half yard cut was generous and the color didn't run when I prewashed it, which I was a little worried about.
