Thatched – Plum 1/2 Yard

This plum reads almost black in low light but glows a rich wine color near the window, giving my Dresden plates real depth. The fabric has a nice, tight weave that handled precise piecing without fraying.

The depth of this plum is perfect—it’s dark enough to anchor my cream and gold blocks without feeling flat. The fabric handled my needle beautifully, no puckers at all.

This shade is exactly what my quilt needed to anchor the gold and teal blocks—it reads almost black until the light hits it, then that deep plum comes through. The fabric has a nice hand for piecing, not too stiff.
