Thatched – Sky 1/2 Yard

Cut a few squares for a baby quilt and the bright, clear blue is exactly what I hoped for — it reads so fresh and airy. The half-yard was enough for my project and the fabric has that nice, subtle woven feel without being stiff.

The woven texture gives it just enough depth to keep a whole quilt from looking flat, and the blue is so crisp it feels like a breezy summer morning. I already cut into it for a baby quilt and the hand feel is lovely.

This sky blue blender is exactly the bright, clear pop of color my summer quilt needed. The woven texture gives it a nice linen-like feel without the wrinkling.
