Grunge – Eggplant 1/2 Yard

The mottled texture is what sold me—it’s subtle in person but adds such nice depth to my quilt blocks. This eggplant shade is rich and velvety, exactly the dramatic pop I was after.

The deep purple is darker than the listing photo suggests, which I actually loved once it was cut into strips. It blends so nicely with my lighter neutrals without disappearing into them. Half a yard was just enough for the border on a wall hanging.

That mottled Grunge texture is exactly what I wanted — it reads almost black at first glance but the purple shows through when light hits it. I used it for a border and it made the whole quilt look richer without being flat.
