Grunge – Scarlet 1/2 Yard

The deep red is exactly what I wanted for a Christmas quilt, not too bright and not muddy. It pairs well with the cream and green prints I already had, and the fabric cut clean with barely any fraying.

The mottled texture in this deep red is exactly what I wanted for a quilt border — it reads almost solid from across the room but has that subtle depth up close. Fabric came with clean cut edges and pressed out nicely.

I used this for a Christmas wall hanging and the deep red reads almost like a solid from across the room. Up close you still get that subtle Grunge mottling, which keeps it from looking flat next to my prints. Cut cleanly with no fraying at the edges too.
