Grunge – Clear Water 1/2 Yard

The mottled texture gives this aqua fabric so much depth, it feels like real hammered metal in a softer, fabric form. I used it for the backing on a baby quilt and it sets off the brighter prints perfectly without stealing the show.

The aqua tone is exactly the crisp coastal blue I was after, and the mottled speckle keeps it from looking flat in my quilt top. It pressed up beautifully without any warping, which I always worry about with lighter fabrics.
