These wildflowers are even more charming in person than in the photos, and the creamy eggshell background makes them feel so airy. Cutting into it was a pleasure since the fabric has that lovely crisp hand I look for in quilting cottons.

The eggshell base is such a soft neutral that it goes with almost anything in my stash. I used it for a quilt backing and the wildflower motifs still read clearly without being busy. Cutting it was a breeze, barely any fraying.

The eggshell base is soft and creamy without being too yellow, which made it easy to pair with the sage and dusty blue solids already in my stash. I bought a half yard to test it on a quilt border and immediately went back for more.
