Moda Windfall - Rust 1/2 yd

This burnt-orange tone is exactly what my quilt needed for fall—it adds that cozy warmth without feeling too dark, and the fabric's texture feels lovely to work with. I already want more.

The earthy rust shade has just enough variation to make my fall quilt blocks look hand-dyed rather than flat. Cut beautifully with almost no fraying, and a half yard was plenty for the border strips I needed.

The burnt-orange tone is richer in person than on my screen, and it blends beautifully with the cream and olive prints already in my stash. Fabric has a nice hand to it too, no fraying when I prewashed the half yard.
